Q: My apple tv will connect to my wireless network but not to the Internet. I know the Internet is wipe king as you laptop can access it. Have reset apple tv and then restored it and still nothing. Any ideas?

My ATV tends to be finnicky sometimes, too.  I just had an issue with it losing it's connection to the internet (I think related to my use of the iPhone remote app) and had a bit of trouble getting it to connect again, and like you, my laptop and iPhone could connect to the internet without problems.  I was able to get it to connect again by simply unplugging the ATV (power cord), waiting a few seconds, and then plugging it back in.

Worth a try.
