I can't load Movie Magic scheduling on my Macbook Air. It loads fine on my Macbook Pro. Any suggestions?

I've tried downloading directly from the Movie Magic website. I've tried loading it from an external disc drive but it keeps failing to install. It takes me all the way through the installation process but then won't open at the end. AS I mentioned, it works perfectly on my Macbook Pro but it would be a lot easier if it also worked on my MBA.

Any suggestions most welcome.

Movie Magic Screenwriter? Which version of the software are you using? Their website says if it is any version prior to Version 6, it is NOT Lion compatible. I dont know if this is your issue, but what version of OS X is your MacBook Pro?

No, it's Movie Magic Scheduler. I also have MM Budgeting and it doesn't load either. Both the MBP and MBA are fully up to date and using Lion 10.7.3. The software provider suggested it might be a permissions issue but I checked and repaired all my permissions but that hasn't helped either. Now I'm wondering if it's something to do with the MBA having a flash-based drive. Very frustrating.

I should say I'm downloading the software direct from their website and it's a special Lion-approved version.

I cant imagine it would have anything to do with the fact that the drive is Flash based. To the OS and the programs, it cant tell the difference. A drive is a drive is a drive. The only other thing I can think of, is that there is a specific program on your Air that is preventing the installation of the MM software. Do you have any sort of AV software by chance? It may come down to attempting to install on a CLEAN installation of Lion, installing the MM software FIRST, then installing additional software after it.
