does the apple magic mouse work on black glass, without a mouse mat?

The Magic Mouse works well on any surface the laser light doesn't penatrate. Glass doesn't work well but if the black glass is dense enough it could. Using a mouse pad or piece of paper or magazine will fix that issue.
