What is the best small printer to go with an air book and thunderbolt screen and be a great printer?

The LaserJet printers from HP are very good. I've used those for many years. They are more expensive, but worth in IMHO. If you are looking for something less expensive, you can get a very good Epson or HP inkjet printer for less than $200.
Thanks that is helpful I was wondering if I should go wireless? Do you have a wireless printer for me to consider that would go with a Mac book air and display screen and work pretty seamlessly?
I like wireless. I would go with a wireless printer if you can. Wireless gives you more options of where to place your printer.
I'm using an HP Color LaserJet Pro CP1525nw. I like it because (a) it's a color laser printer, (b) it's wireless, and (c) it's enabled for AirPrint so I can print directly from my iPad or iPhone. It also has a small footprint so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and it has a concealed paper tray. The print quality is excellent. I don't do a lot of printing, but this printer works great for my needs.
I've been very happy with the HP Envy 410. Great wireless printer with scanner and copier.
