the screen on my macbook 2006 keeps glitching when it reaches the main screen
it also leaves "residue" when i open and close an application
i bought it last week without a battery and charger
i got both new but the new battery is not responding at all.. so im powering it from the power supply
take a look at the pictures below
any help would be appriciated
its also extremely laggy some times and other times its just fine

the old battery was bloating before it gave out, if that helps , any help?
You bought a 6 year old computer. Sorry to tell you but it is defective.
I don't know how much you paid for it but as it looks it was to much.
Take it back to where you bought it and get your money back.
If you tried to have it fixed it would cost as much, or nearly as much, as a new Macbook Pro.
The battery and charger are probably not returnable.
