Use Universal remote with Remote iOS app?

Hi!

Does anybody knows if I can use my universal remote I got with my universal dock to control "Remote" app on my iPhone. If I'm already using the "Remote" app (for example. using it to listen to the music on my pc) when i press play/pause on my remote it starts "Music" (previusly iPod) app on my iPhone and I can hear simultaneously music on my iPhone and on my PC.

If you're asking why I need this, it's because I would like to control my iTunes music with universal remote while my iPhone is docked. Since universal remote can only be used with iTunes on a Mac i would like to do something similar by doing what I described. 🙂
