i just noticed that after i run software update on my mac mini and install samsung printer software update v2.3
I'm no longer able to scan from my Samsung SCX-4300
on macbook pro i noticed the software update has not been installed, and i can still scan without any problem
is there a way to uninstall the software update?

i have the same problem,
i've checked and seems that the scanner driver is not yet updated

i wrote also to samsung customer service but seem that the driver must be updated by apple.
i'll post any update here so we can be notified by the forum

Having the same problem - had zero issues before. Installed the update and it immediately stopped working.
I haven't tried printing, since I just want to scan my mail.
Have to say, I am really not happy that they pushed a driver for a multifuntion that takes the "multi" out of the product.
Is there any way to roll back the driver?
I had this problem, and I solved it by restoring the scanner driver from Time Machine
The file is \library\image capture\devices\Samsung Scanner
Once the machine was rebooted the scanner worked as before
What's the correct way to uninstall SamsungPrinterSoftwareUpdate v.2.3
If I delete the following:
- Samsung folder in /Libraries/Printers/
- Samsung Scanner.app in /Library/Image Capture/Devices
Will it remove samsung driver for printer and scanner?
If yes, then I can reinstall SamsungPrinterSoftwareUpdate v2.2 (found in on the internet from google search)
note: confirmed the problem is with SamsungPrinterSoftwareUpdate v2.3

i am really annoyed of apple... bringing out an update and reducing funtionality of hardware... thats a nogo!
