Suggest that you download and install the full featured AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion

Open 5.6 and click Manual Setup, then click directly on the word Version (3rd line) to select the firmware that you want.

You can keep both 5.6 and 6.0 on your Mac and use the version that you prefer. (You cannot delete 6.0)
