I read somewhere that this latest Security Update (2012-001 v 1.1) impacts Rosetta. I still use Quicken 2006 and it would suck if this update prevented that.

What and where did you read that? AFAIK all Rosetta problems cleared up with the v1.1. I've installed it, and I'm not seeing any issues with any of my PPC apps.
I think it may have been on Macrumors.com and could have referred to an earlier version. Thanks for your reply.
