HI, I want to share apps & music with my wife but not imessage & iChat... how to do?
should i use the same apple ID or 2?

Your thread/Question has ended up in The iChat Community and I am not sure that you wanted that.
Your specs say iPhone 4s and not a Mac of any sort.
If it is phone only I would use two IDs
One can be used for iTunes and the APP store on both phones (As well as messages on one) and the other for messages on the other phone.
If you are using an Mac and it is running Lion then use the System Preferences > Mail, Contact & Calendars pane to decide which Names are working with which App (Services as I call it in the pic)
