Powerbook G3 - DVDs?

Hey,

I'm looking into a 266MHz Wallstreet PowerBook G3 and I was wondering if it would be able to play DVDs on it, as this was the period where the drives were introduced into Apple's laptops.

Would I need any upgrades? Special software? Would the processor be fast enough?

Thanks,

-Myles

The Wallstreet doesn't have a DVD drive. The later Lombard PowerBook G3s have a DVD drive but must be running Mac OS 9 or earlier to use the video DVD decoding hardware.
