iPad2 TIVO app crashing?
I've been using the TIVO app for my iPad2 for almost a year. It's been a terrific tool to organize TV watching through my TIVO Premiere box. Mostly 4 star performance! I scan the Guide list for upcoming movies and specials on HBO, Showtime, TMC and other fav sources.
Three days ago the iPad app began crashing. After scrolling through the Tivo 'guide' the app would just quit.
Now it will not stay connected for any longer than a minute. I've restarted the iPad several times. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the iPad app. No change. I've reset the Tivo Premiere box. No change.
Then I remembered the Tivo app is on my iPhone 4s. I've used the 4s Tivo app on occasion to program the Tivo. Same exact problem….. crashes after about one minute.
What kind of gremlin is going on here? The Tivo upgraded itself to this new "look" about 10 days ago. There was no intitial issues with that upgrade. Perhaps another upgrade has happened causing this problem. (??)
I'm baffled. Doing searches in Tivo forums and Apple forums related to "iPad crashes on the Tivo app" has revealed zero results.
Am I the only person in the world this is happening?
Any suggestions?
