Jun 17, 2013 5:03 AM in response to michaelhcby hexonxonx,Yes, as long as the recpient has an iPhone/iPod/iPad or a Mac, they can recieve your messages. It is called iMessages for this reason.
If you need to send a message to non iOS users, use email.

Cannot initiate setup of contacts
Trying results in being unable to SEND the ,messages
ALSO the contacts do not remain in the Message app
Trinidad & Tobago does not appear in the Region questionnaire
I chose " Guyana" , as that country is geographically the nearest & it is part of the West Indies, as is Trinidad & Tobago
