Cannot visit certain websites.

Have you checked your parental settings? Something in there might be working to cause this.

it's under settings < general < restrictions

If that doesn't work ill do some more looking around and see what i can turn up

Wow, sorry, I totally misread your original post. I was thinking you couldn't access those websites off an iOS device. My bad!

Have you tried using other browsers like Firefox or Chrome?

Please launch the Network Utility application by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. Select the Lookup tab and enter

www.booksamillion.com

in the address field. Press return. Post the output -- the text, please, not a screenshot.

Are you having problems with booksamillion.com or with bookamillion.com? They're different.

Select  ▹ System Preferences ▹ Network ▹ Advanced ▹ DNS. Under DNS Servers you should have one or more numerical addresses, such as “192.168.1.1” or “10.0.0.1”. What are those addresses?

If you are a kid you might have parental controls on which filters everything you look up. There must be innappropiate content on the web sites you are searching. My second guess is that you might of entered a site and developed a virus or a coockie. i reccomend Norton internet security for your virus problem. It is fast easy and effective. =~P

Absolutely do not install Norton under any circumstances. It's utter garbage.
