I recently did research on such an adapter as I have the speakers myself. Griffin Technologies made a product called the iFire (the only product ever to allow other devices to use them). The iFire used to be $30.00 but was discontinued when the tech got too old to be relevant. You can still buy one on eBay or Amazon but the cost is at best $220.00 USD. I ended up connecting my old iMac G4 to them and using an app called Airfoilto stream music from my other devices to the iMac via a LAN wireless connection.
P.S. Loving the Apple Speaker sound! They are the best speakers I've ever owned, and mine are 16 YEARS OLD!

Cheaper to either purchase a set of speakers you can connect to the iPad's headphone jack OR purchase a Bluetooth speaker.
There are better places to spend $250-$500 than on an audio adapter for a nearly 15 year old set of computer speakers to use with much newer technology.
doubtful
It would be so much simpler if you'd provide some elementary detail in these sorts of questions, things like what do those speakers use for audio input now? If you're someone who doesn't already know the answer to that question, someone like me for example, then pretty much all I can do is this .....
what kind of input does the speakers have? google 1/8th to (whatever it is) and see if there's a converter.
They would just need to run off their own power. The iPad won't put out enough to power them I would think
