Apple MusicApparenlty, yes > iTunes Store: Which types of items can I buy in my country?
Keep in mind the iTunes and Mac App Store are one in the same.
However, you can only purchase media using a credit or debit card associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

Feb 19, 2012 11:26 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby KeanuReeves,Thank you for your reply, but the link you posted refers to the iTunes store, not the Mac app store.
I was wondering if it is possible to purchase paid applications from the Mac app store in India.

Feb 20, 2012 12:53 AM in response to Carolyn Samitby KeanuReeves,I don't think so - if you look at products affected, it refers to "iTunes Store".
But if you visit: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4461 , you will see that the products affected are "Mac App Store".
