Q: Bluetooth Unavailable?

My Bluetooth icon suddenly shows the squiggly line through the icon and the menu says "bluetooth unavailable". I restarted twice but nothing changed. What do I do?!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

How can I accomplish thsi.. I have the same problem... Bòuetooth Unavailable... I am running OS LION 10.7.2?

This may seem stupid but after trying RESTART several times, a simple full SHUTDOWN solved the problem for me... I found this suggestion here

Don't just restart. Do a full shut-down. Then unplug the power cord. Wait for about ten minutes, or take coffee-break. Plug the power cord back in. Start up. Works like a charm 99 times out of 100.
