Mail search by domain?
Am I missing something or is it just impossible to do a simple search for all emails received from domain X?

This is what I am missing as well ... not just a little ... but I really miss it !!! In my job I deal with several people from the same company. Quite often I need to find all the mails I wrote and received from that company ... meaning everybody of that company! This was the easiest task up until Lion ...
Try this- type "from:@domain" you will see messages from all email addresses from that domain.
You can also use "to:@domain" to look for the messages that were sent to an email address at a given domain.
Thanks for the hint ... typing it in german seems to at least finally getting the result I needed so much.
But I still can't beleive I'm doing things like that on a Mac !!!
Thanks leroydouglas, that seemed to work. With one minor adjustment: I had to ommit the '@' character, otherwise no results were shown after hitting the return key.
