Q: can I use re-chargable batteries

going thru so many batteries is their a chance i can rechargable batteries with my magic mouse?

Yes...

Even Apple sells a charger and rechargeable batteries in the Store.
Comes with 6 rechargeable batteries.

I use rechargables in all my wireless stuff (keyboard/mouse/trackpad). They work well but don't last as long as disposable batteries, but it doesn't matter if you have a few spares charged up.

I even use some of my older camera recharageable batteries in some of my keyboards and mice.
That way I don't have to buy any new batteries until these give out.
