I've been burning DVDs on my imac from imovie with no problem, but all of a sudden I am getting a "There Is No Title" message when I try to play them in my DVD player. Why would this start happening now and what does it mean? Thanks for any help.

Can be so many things.
• Free space on "Start-Up Mac OS hard disk - How much ?
• Did You try - trashing iMovie pref file - or rather set up a new User-Account, log into this and re-try (this forces Your Mac to do all pref files new)
• Brand of DVD disk Used ?
• Type of DVD disk Used ?
• Burn speed - I set it tpo x2 or x4 - Much better
• Material (Video-codec) same as previous ? (New Camera ?)

Trashed the plist and repaired permissions. Using the same media as always. However, noticed this AM that the firewire to the external burner wasn't in all the way. The iMac burner went a couple years ago. Crossing fingers and hoping for the best. Will update with results.

Sorry, I'll try again. EVERYTHING is exactly the same as has worked perctly for years and up until yesterday. Same media, same burn speed, plenty of room on the HD (100GB), and purple. Oh, wait, you didn't ask my favorite color.

Free space - changes from day to day - minute to minute - so chance that it's the same is less than 1 / 1000.000
• Brand of DVD disk Used ? Matters due to that some are stable and some are notorious culprits as they work OK day 1 and fades away some weeks later.
• Type of DVD disk Used ? Hopefully same if spindle with DVDs is. DVD +/- RW are also a very bad choice as they work OK brand new - but ages quickly
• Burn speed - I set it to x2 or x4 - Much better - This goes also for brand new DVDs then the automatically set speed e.g. 16 can work - but after a few days setting down speed usually helps
• Material (Video-codec) same as previous ? (New Camera ?) - Can be if You are sure that You used exactly same Camera and setting and Audio from same source as Audio-CD (.aiff) - if from iTunes and .mp3 or even worse from PC and .vma - everything can go wrong.
So I don't ask to be mean - but to get a chance to be able to make a mindmapp to see better what might be problematic.
