I have some digital copies on my Itunes of some movies that we have purchased I was wandering if there is a way to burn a copy so that we can use as a travel disk so our movies don't get so trashed and ruined so fast.
No, unless you'll be playing the movie through iTunes from a data DVD in a Mac or PC.

Seriously???!!! I just bought a $14.99 movie and can only watch it on my computer? No way. I'm going to try what I saw another person post, about pulling it into idvd and see if that works. If this is true, this will be my one and last movie to pay for thru itunes.

You can play it on your computer, iPad, iPod, iPhone or AppleTV and any of these connected to your television set.

No. You can connect your computer to any TV with inputs and watch it there. You can watch it on Apple TV, ipod, ipad, iphone also.
You simply cannot burn it to disk and watch it in a dvvd player.
Just as you can ONLY watch a dvd on a dvd player. You cannot watch it on an ipod/iphone/ipad/Apple TV and you cannot watch a dvd on any tv that does not have a dvd player.

We'll connect the laptop up to the computer, or just pull chairs in here and watch it on the laptop.
I guess I thought it would be the same as music, you can burn a car copy or a copy to use in your stereo.
No biggie. It was my first time to buy something other than music. Now I know. And if I can hook the computer to my tv (my tv might be too old, not sure) then this solves the issue completely.

Ah, but you can view an itunes movie on ANY TV with inputs. Just connect your computer to your tv - same as a dvd player.
