Feb 20, 2012 11:16 AM in response to mrk4543by Zyriab,'backspace' is pretty much in the same place as on a PC keyboard, top right just above the 'enter' key.

Feb 20, 2012 11:28 AM in response to mrk4543by Shootist007,The one marked Delete is actually a Backspace key, Apple. If you want it to function as a PC Delete key hold down the "fn" key when hitting it. That most of the time, MOST OF THE TIME but not always, makes it a Delete key. Except when you actually want to Delete something. Then all you get is a BEEP. But in most programs to delete something to the right of the cursor fn+Delete will remove what is to the right.

Of course, who would think the 'delete' key wouldn't be the 'backspace' key.....this is going to be real interesting as this is my first venture into the world of apple laptops/desktops....I have always used a pc....thanks again for the info.

You will either get use to it or you will hate it and wish you never heard the name Apple or Mac.
Good Luck.
