Q: Full Scan does not complete
When I run a full scan on one particular device (called IMAGE_ASSETS) it does not complete. There is no error message in the log, just a message stating "Final Cut Server starting up" followed by "logged in" messages for everyone who was logged in.
The error occurs during scans of different folders and at different times during the scan. Below are two scans from the same day. The only difference is that the earlier scan picked up a few assets. For reference, the Mountaire subdir is further in the process list (according to ./fcsvr_client search --dirs /dev/11) than George's. So it does not appear to be a particular defective file or directory.
11:59:59 - response triggered for Device IMAGE_ASSETS on IMAGE_ASSETS
(runs as expected until)
11:45:46 - Scan of IMAGE_ASSETS /George's/Production expects to have nothing to do
11:45:58 - Final Cut Server starting up
1:34:59 - response triggered for Device IMAGE_ASSETS on IMAGE_ASSETS
(runs as expected until)
2:07:07 - Scan of IMAGE_ASSETS /Mountaire/Production Trip/Friday - Selbyville/Josh expects to : scan 6 subdirectories
2:07:21 - Final Cut Server starting up
Is there any reason that there might be a limit of time, number of folders scanned or number of assets?
Or anything else that might cause this?
Thanks.
