Q: Keyboard Shortcuts?

I purchased a Macbook Pro 17 on Friday. I am new to the OS platform and am looking for any concise documentation on keyboard shortcuts or menus. The operating system is pretty intuitive but the shortcuts and keyboard itself is a bit different from Windows. I searched the net but really didn't find any reference guide or table I could use. The product documentation found here is pretty simple and does not get into any detail on such matters. IMO, a comprehensive shortcut reference guide should be included, unless you like clicking on tiny buttons. That's my only complaint about the OS so far. Getting to those tiny close and expand buttons on the upper left is a pain until you figure out the Command-Q to close option. I am looking for more complex type shortcut actions.
