Can't Remove Bad Addresses from AutoComplete in Mail

Simple request: There should be a way to remove an incorrect e-mail address (I mistakenly typed ".con" instead of ".com") from the AutoComplete list of e-mail addresses in Mail on the iPhone (and, by extension, the iPad). But there isn't.

Apple: Get on the stick! I should not have to restore my entire iPhone in order to delete ONE lousy incorrect e-mail address! If I press and hold on an address in my list, you should pop up a choice to delete it.

Mac OS X (10.7.2)

You can delete the unwanted/unused/bad email address from the iOS address book auto complete.

1. Go to compose new email and begin typing in the recipient.

2. When the auto complete shows possible entries look for the bad/unused email address.

3. The bad/unused email address will have a blue arrow to the right of it.

4. Touch the arrow and the screen will display "Recent"

5. Touch "Remove From Contact"

The email address will be deleted and never return again unless you physically input it into your recipient field.

Hope this helps
