Can not transfer some app purchases from my iPhone to iTunes

I'm getting a message "Some of the purchased items on the iPhone could not be transferred to your iTunes library because you are not authorized for them on this computer" There are 12 Apps which I have downloaded/purchased recently that won't come over. When I option clocik my phone and select "transnfer purchases, I get the same message. My computer was authorized, so I de a de-authorization and re-authorization but still get the same message. I want to do a resore on my iPhone but don't want to lose the purchases that I had made previously...easpecially one "teather" which is no longer available in iTunes.

Anyone got an answer for this?

Thanks!

Authorize your computer again. If the authorization diaglog shows only your user name in the Apple ID box, append the rest of your email address.

For example, if the Apple ID field reads "myappleid", change it to "myappleid@me.com".

I authorized and re-authorized and re-authorized again and de-authorized all and re-authorized again and again (for many hours over several months), and every time it seemed successful. But apparently "myappleid" and "myappleid@me.com" are different (to iTunes), and as soon as I appended the rest of my email address (and not just the ID), my computer was authorized and I was able to sync/transfer all my purchases.

I hope this works for you, too. Good luck.

Quick follow up: If my recommendation does work for you, also do the following:

Open the App Store app on your iPhone, go to the "Updates" section, and tap "Purchased." Then check the list to see if all the apps you've purchased are listed. If they are, you should be all set. If they are not, follow these steps:

1. Open iTunes and determine which "account" is signed in -- i.e., whether you've signed in with "MyAppleID" or "MyAppleID@me.com"

2. Then Store -> Sign Out

3. Sign in with the opposite "account" -- i.e., if you were signed in with "MyAppleID," sign in with "MyAppleID@me.com" and vice-versa.

4. Check that you're iPhone is signed in with the same account.

5. Sync

6. If you have previous enabled Home Sharing in iTunes, you'll probably need to reenable it (Advanced -> Turn On Home Sharing)

7. You may have some other issues similar to (6), but they should be easy to figure out when you encounter then now.

Good luck.
