How do I start up Logic Pro in 64 bit?

Make sure that under the "Get Info" tab, 32-bit is not selected.

The app needs to have BOTH a 32-bit and a 64-bit compiled version in the app bundle.

If the app is ONLY compiled for one flavor, you will not get an option.
