hello i want to know how many hours does the macbook pro last long for the late 2011 i just got this one and i feel this not last 7 i dont know if its because is new and with the time it will calibrate or something like that.

The battery life you get will depend on what you are doing with your mac. You will not get 7 hours if you are watching a movie, playing a graphics intensive video game, or doing photo/video editing. In those cases, maybe you could expect to get 3-4 hours. Doing general web surfing, word processing, watching some youtube videos etc you could probably expect 5-6 hours. The 7 hour battery claim is if you are doing virtually next to nothing on your mac and have the energy saver settings at the most optimal levels. oh ok im asking because i just bought this one few days ago, connecting the macbook pro to the tv drain the battery too?
I have never connected my mac to a TV, but I certainly assume that if it was on battery power, it would use the battery faster than if it wasn't connected.
