PB G4 + 29" TV - Display configuration advice?

Using a PowerBook G4 17 inches. Trying to connect it to my 29 inches Sansui TV. Guess its a CRT monitor. I guess i am not getting the display setup right. The windows are not fit and i get all horizontal scroll bars. Icons and their text are not readable. Fonts doesn't seem to be smooth too. Sometime i get little waves too.

Can someone help me with the right pixel configuration and other related config info please?
