Can I delete original user account?

Hi

I just bought a second-hand PB G4 15" (the last one - beautiful machine!). The seller installed Leopard but also set up an admin account - his name, no password.

I've now set up my own admin account and migrated data across from another Mac. Can I now delete the seller's user account, even though it was the first user? (Reinstalling the system wasn't an option - there are no Leopard disks, only the original Tiger disks.)

Thanks Tom, but that article makes it look as if my problem is more complicated than it really is?

The last owner reinstalled Leopard, but instead of allowing me to set the computer up as 1st user, he created a new admin account with no files in, and no password. Now that I have my own admin account and data migrated, can I just delete his account?

I'm only asking because I thought I read somewhere that deleting the first user might cause problems?
