unable to download purchased item from itunes

Hi please help exceptionally frustrated....I am trying to download a purchased item from itunes, its a tv mini series so there are 13 episodes streaming down.They appear to start to download but after a short time and error message keeps appearing...which just purely states "an unknown error occurred (-50)..., does anyone know how to correct this????
