Automatically dismiss iTunes dialog boxes

Hello everybody,

In our household, we run a Mac mini that hosts our iTunes library to sync all of our iPhones, iPad, iPod touches etc. (all on iOS 5). It is hooked up to a TV to watch movies every so often, but in the end the TV is mostly switched off.

Now every so often iTunes produces some form of error message (like "could not mount disk", and alike). When this happens, this stops any further synching of devices until someone realizes the problem, switches on the TV, tries to find mouse and keyboard and dismisses the error which is no longer relevant.

It happend every month or so until the introduction of wireless synching, but now errors are way more frequent chiefly because devices sync more often (which is great of course). Is there some way of dismissing these errors automatically after some time, say 60 seconds or so?

Any idea would be highly appreciated.

Best regards,

Andreas
