iMail not checking for messages automatically...

Hi and thanks for reading,

I have noticed that it is a lot my iMail is not checking automatically for new messages... i have both POP and IMAP account but in order to get new messages I have to manually click the folder logo on the top left for the manual checking.

In preferences I have selected an automatic check evegy 5 minutes but... nothing happen.

Furthermore I am expecting to get Push Mail for my iCloud account (as it happening on my iPhone and iPad).

Any advice?
