Disabling IPv6 in OS X Lion

This article says I should have an "Off" option under the IPv6 pop-up menu. In OS X Lion (10.7.3) that option does not exist, "Automatically", "Manually" and "Link-local only". My corp. IT tells me IPv6 is messing up the network and I have to disable it. How do I do that if the "Off" option isn't provided? After searching I found "ip6 -x" command line utiltiy disables it, however it's not peristant through reboots. What can I do to make it persistant?

For the WiFi use terminal and write:

networksetup -setv6off wi-fi

For the ethernet connection:

networksetup -setv6off Ethernet
