No transport

Soundtrack Pro (3.0.1) opens and everything seems to be working well, but if I try to record a track, the playhead does not move.
Same thing if I open an AIFF file, Soundtrack will not read it, the playhead simply does not move.

In both cases, the play button keeps switching back to pause as soon as you hit it.

My OS is 10.7.3.

Any Idea?

Problem was Tascam US-144MKII audio interface. This thing has been a bag of problems on Mac, it's going back.
