The Camera Roll is for temporary storage. Photos/videos in the Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer ASAP as with any other digital camera. The Camera Roll is also included with the iPhone's backup, which is updated by iTunes as the first step during the iTunes sync process.

If the photos/videos were not imported by your computer and your iPhone wasn`t synced with iTunes since the photos/videos were captured by your iPhone.

Hope this can solve your question.

According to Apple, the videos get backed up in iTunes when you do a sync/backup, so connect your phone to iTunes and restore from the latest backup. It's not a good idea to store videoss in the camera roll of your phone.

If you did a backup/sync in iTunes, your data are safely tucked away in a database in your computer but you need another tool to extract and copy back to your iPhone.

This iPhone Video Recovery can recover lost & deleted data directly from Apple iPhone 4, including photos, videos, contacts, call logs, messages, voice memos(m4a), videos, etc., as well as extract data from iTunes backup file.

Actually, you have 2 ways to recover your iPhone videos:

Solution 1.Scan and extract iTunes backup to recover videos from iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS

Step 1: Select the device backup to scan

Step 2: Recover deleted iPhone videos

After the scan, the whole backup content are extracted and also displayed. You can check the video which is in .mpeg format in general, and click "Recover" on the top menu to store it on your computer。

Solution 2.Directly scan and recover deleted videos from iPhone 4/3GS

Step 1:Connect your iPhone to the computer

Launch the recovery software on your computer, and connect your iPhone to the computer with a digital cable.

Step 2:Enter the DFU mode and scan iPhone

According to the guide in the interface, begin to enter the DFU mode with your iPhone:

1. Hold your iPhone and click "Start" button.

2. Pressing "Power" and "Home" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.

3. After 10 seconds, release "Power" button, but keep holding "Home" for another 10 seconds.

When you're told that you've entered the DFU mode, release the "Home" button

Step 3: Preview and recover deleted videos from iPhone

When the scan is completed, all your data on your iPhone or lost from iPhone are found and listed in organized categories.
