My MacBook started to beep after I opened it last night. The screen froze and it continued to beep. I pushed the switch-off button and it shut down. I turned it on again and this time the screen turned all white while it was still beeping. After about 1 minut it stopped beeping but a map with a question mark came up. What should I do? Does anyone know what is wrong?

Can you actually sign into your mac? If so, make sure your internal hard drive is selected as the start up disc. Also, regarding the beeps, read this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1547
No, I can't sign in. When I turn it on it just beeps and the screen is all white. And then after a about a minute, the map with the question mark comes up. I have read that this might mean that my harddrive is crashed. Does this mean that I have lost all my data or is there a Way to get it back?

If your hard drive has infact crashed and you have no backup, all your data will be lost unless you use a data recovery service.
