How would Snow Leopard and Logic Pro function in these cases?

1)

Snow Leopard purchased from US Apple store

Logic Pro purchased from the US Apple store

for use on a UK Mac *

2)

* that otherwise meets the minimum tech specs, etc.

Doesn't matter. The only thing that's different is the currency you paid in.

And the cost! Since the family's current main base is the UK, the [currently] more expensive UK copy of Snow Leopard would need to be obtained. But since Logic Pro is downloadable, it could be download it from the US Store.

It's red for blood.
