My Ipod nano is not charging - via adaptor nor PC. please help?

That's definitely a sign that your iPod's battery is totally shot and in need of a replacement. It has lost its ability to retain and build up a charge. You can either have the battery swapped out by Apple or a third party service center for a little less.

Otherwise, it's time to start saving for a new iPod.

Mine is not charging either..i just bought it..are you supposed to leave it plugged in for a while before it starts charging when its brand new?

If the battery icon on the iPod or in iTunes has a lightning flash in it then the battery is still charging. If it shows a plug symbol then the battery is fully charged.
