CTO?

I'm new to MAC and in the PC world i've never heard of CTO...

So when I order my macbookpro (first MAC) what is CTO stand for?

CTO = configure to order = BTO = built to order

CTO means you customize the machine by adding more/less RAM, Hard Drive Space/Speed or Software using one of the existing BTO (Built to Order) models, all for a price of course.

I think "stock" means the base model. I'm pretty sure BTO=CTO.
