ITunes radio 10.5.3 (3) stopped working

No stations work, or just one? It could be the server that does a particular station is down.

Odd. I'm using iTunes version 7.5 that's about 5+ years old and I can get radio stations (when Apple seems to have dropped support for it in all other respects).

I woke up this morning and have had the same issue. I was listening last night to the radio stations just fine and now when I click an arrow to list all the radio stations it gives me the error message saying to check my connections and try again later. Its weird too because I can still listen to my favorite stations playlist. Its not an internet connection issue because I can still access the internet, iTunes Store, App Store, etc. etc. I've done some research online and this seems to be a popular error. Ways to fix it have varied from adding IP address to reinstallation of iTunes. I don't want to do either and I'm kinda hoping that Apple will fix it.

I am having this exact problem. It was fine yesterday. The message keeps coming up as it tries to refresh the category list of radio stations. Note: this is not a problem playing individual radio stations if you already have one in a playlist. I have a radio station in a playlist that plays fine. This problem is specifically related to refreshing the list of radio categories that allows a user to browse the radio stations. No radio stations are being shown, but iTunes keeps trying to refresh the list and getting an error.

I'm on Mac Version 10.7.3 and iTunes 10.5.3.

Same problem. Apple? Are you out there?

Echo of problem, existing stations work, otherwise:

"An error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later."

Same on iMac running 10.6 and MacBook Pro running 10.7 using iTumes 10.5.3(3).

How to report this bug?

Apple doesn't respond to question on these forums, just other Mac users like you.

I never use iTunes radio but I tried it a few minutes ago in response to the original post and I got it to play a station. It refreshes the stream list for each genre. Of course I am using an older version so who knows what improvements to hte newer version may be causing iTunes.

Same problem here also started this morning with iTunes 10.5.3.3 on a fully patched Win 7 64-bit machine. I tried disabling the Win Firewall, NAV2012 and restarted the router. No new programs, services or hardware installed recently. All other aspects of iTunes and other programs seem OK.

Add me to the list of users having this problem today for the first time.

It is not working here in Pittsburgh, PA either. I am currently using an older version of iTunes and have been using the iTunes radio service dally for years.

I googled the error message and found this discussion. My assumption is that it is on Apple's end and not on the user end.
