Feb 29, 2012 6:23 AM in response to Joseph Giardinoby zaddel123,It still works for me if I keep clicking on the station I want -- after a few tries, they all work and keep working all day long. I've changed stations and they all come up. For all those doing something out there on their end -- my advice would be not to. This is an Apple problem, not an individual problem. I used to get my radio stations to come up instantly, today it took me 4 tries, yesterday about 5, and the day before that about 8. But it does work eventually. It is the upgrade because it only started to happen after I upgraded. We'll have to wait for Apple to do their "fixes," I just wish we didn't have to be their guinea pigs.

Feb 29, 2012 6:28 AM in response to torndownunitby j13ag,Since Apple broke this, I just use a browser and listen to the feed provided by the radio station through their web site.
Example:
http://www.cbc.ca/video/radio-popup.html#/networkKey=cbc_radio_one&programKey=to ronto
Many radio services make their feed available this way.
cheers

The problem is what I love about the iTunes radio is checking out random stations I know nothing about.

Feb 29, 2012 6:54 AM in response to Danger Cellby zaddel123,It's not the upgrade. I'm using iTunes 9.1 and having the same problem as those using 10.5, however, I seem to be getting through after a few tries whereas some in this discussion can't get through at all. It would be interesting to note which versions we're all using.

Feb 29, 2012 9:25 AM in response to Danger Cellby crittle1,Issue still exists, TN here.
Repetitive clicking does not work for me. Although, some genres do work.
They'll eventually fix it, just report the problem, stream online and check back in a week.

Feb 29, 2012 9:34 AM in response to Danger Cellby Judge Fred MANSON,FRANCE.
Mac OS 10.5.8 (PPC).
iTunes 10.5.3.
Same problem: no access to the radio stations list.
What I have done: "cleaned" my System disk from any iTunes files, done a check up of file permissions, loaded iTunes 10.5.3, installed it and... same error.
I am so obstinate that I have installed a fresh 10.5.8 on a fresh HDD. Software updates OK. iTunes 10.5.3 by default from scratch: same problem with the radio only...
I have entered the iTunes shop with my account, returned to the radio list and... here I am again...
Clearly a big bug from Apple. Hope a patch will be found quickly. Missing my Heavy-Metal music daily dose!!

Same problem "an error occurred while contacting the radio tuning service. Check your Internet connection, or try again later."

Feb 29, 2012 10:36 AM in response to Judge Fred MANSONby zaddel123,Ha ha! You should live where I live. My grandson is the lead guitarist for a heavy metal band in the U.S. They may be going to Europe this summer. Check them out: With Life in Mind. Anyway, it's not your settings or your computer, it seems to be a universal problem. I'm sure Apple is aware of it and will take care of it -- they always do, eventually. I'm running iTunes 9.1 and when I select Radio, the list comes up, but when I go to select one of the stations, it tells me it's "refreshing." And then an error message comes up, HOWEVER, if I keep hitting the radio station over and over and over again, it eventually comes up and stays up.

Mar 1, 2012 5:19 AM in response to Danger Cellby AlonzoSoftware,Same problem here in The Netherlands (Europe), please Apple when is this fixed?
We run 4 Radio Stations and see the current audience dramatically reduced the last days.

Now we're getting somewhere. A $$ connection. Perhaps now, Apple will pay attention.
