To start, is the HDD formatted in either HFS+ or FAT32? The AirPort Extreme cannot share out a HDD formated in either NTFS or ExFAT. Second, does the AirPort Utility recognize the drive properly. Third, do you have the "Enable file sharing" selected on the File Sharing tab? ... finally, on this same tab do you have the name of your Window's Workgroup entered in the Workgroup window?
Hey, I've done everything you've listed except for the Windows Workgroup part. What is the Workgroup? I'm not exactly sure on what that means. Should that be my PC name or user account?
I'd be thankful for any help you can offer.

The workgroup construct comes from one of the earliest version of Windows: Windows for Workgroups (circa 1993.) This was the default networking environment when domain management is not employed. Unless you have changed it, the default Windows workgroup name is: WORKGROUP

Actually, soon after I posted that I realized that it was WORKGROUP. So now that I have done that and updated/saved the settings, I'm still not getting anything.
I'm just trying to connect this as a wireless hard drive. This works flawlessly on my Mac, but it just doesn't show up under my PC's network list of hard drives.
I'm about to call Apple soon, but if you could help me before then, that would be great.
By the way, I do have it formatted as FAT32.
The only other thing I can think of is that the share name you use for this drive should not include any spaces or special characters. If a space is desired, use an underscore character in its place. I would also limit the number of characters to 12 or less.
