Q: Sony NEX 7 - when will Aperture support RAW formats?

Only Apple knows.

As Allen wrote only Apple knows when and if they will support a specific RAW format. However letting them know you what this can't hurt.

Shame on Apple. Now my Lightroom trial expires and still no NEX support in Aperture. Time to switrch back to windows.

Looks like it's supported as of today.  Check software update:

This update adds RAW image compatibility for the following cameras to Aperture 3 and iPhoto '11:

          • Canon PowerShot G1 X

          • Nikon D4

          • Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX1

          • Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ35

          • Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ38

          • Samsung NX200

          • Sony Alpha NEX-7

          • Sony NEX-VG20

This is GREAT that Apple supported those new cameras so quickly. The Nikon D4 has not even shipped yet.
