Will this work for Macbook Pro (mid 2009) laptop
Will the mini display port to HDMI adapter work for Macbook Pro (mid 2009) laptop. I mean, will both audio and video be transmitted through the same adapter.

For audio you will have to tap the audio output port of your MBP and plug into the RCA audio inputs of your TV.
