When watching movie on netflix or itunes, it stops several times. we have to rewind and play start again, annoying...what could we do to improve ?

I would try another router and maybe another isp as it sounds more like a connection issues
What is your connection speed (www.speedtest.net)?
If on wifi try ethernet and www.istumbler.net to check for interference
