Guest account Spotlight searches all accounts?

On my MacBook running 10.6.8, a Guest account user can search across all accounts (i have 5 accounts) via Spotlight. This doesn't seem right. Shouldn't any non-admin account be restricted to searching only within its own account?

The individual user account folders themselves are readable by others so that they can access things like the personal website and Public folders. Others do not have access to the system created folders in a user account (Documents, Pictures, etc), admin or otherwise, unless the permissions have been altered. Note that the default folder permissions allow others to read it, so if a user creates a folder in their main user folder outside of the default folders, the permissions will need to be changed to deny access to others.
