Can I backup my itune account, if so how?

Can I backup my itune acount, if so how? I have a problem with my computer and need to factory restore it and don't want to do this if I will lose my library.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.0.1

You should always maintain a backup copy of your computer.

Type "back up itunes library" into the google search bar, if you do not know how to backup your library.
