Does it make the startup sound?
Does anything show at any time duing the startup?
Press the power button down 5-10 seconds to make sure it's shut down, then try starting up and see if that makes any difference.

Feb 24, 2012 4:56 PM in response to tjkby grb3630,Thanks again for your help. I turned off the computer and let it sit for an half an hour, cool down time?, and now it started up and. Appears to be fine. Do you think when I get into an area with an apple store I should take it in for a check up? Will take it for sure if it happens again. Thanks for your help.
