Hi

What version of iMovie

• iMovie'09 v.8.0.x - or -

• iMovie'11 v.9.0.x

Did You try any of these

• create a new user account - log into this and try iMovie - does it work now ?

• did You move or alter any folder named iMovie Events or iMovie Projects - if so move them back - might work

• repair permissions - Disk Util tool

How much free space is there on Your Start-Up (Mac OS) hard disk ?

OK

Can You please try

• Create a New User Account - log into this and try iMovie - does it work now ?

Go up to the Apple (top menu row)

Down to System Prefs/Settings)

Select Accounts

Click on Plus sign down left

Name the new user - and OK

- Now up to Apple menu

Down to log-out

Now log into the New User Account

Try iMovie - Still not working ?

• if it now works - the problem most certainly is a corrupted pref file

• If not - I would suspect - corrupted video/audio/photo material and/or a corrupted project file

So how will it work ?

Yours Bengt W
